Yale University Master of Arts in Religion Emphasis on ancient culture and languages 2012 Augustana College BA in Classics and Religion 2010 My BA is a standard liberal arts degree in which I took classes to fulfill all of my degree requirements in both majors while also fulfilling a variety of other course requirements in different subjects. I was in several honor societies specific to my majors.
Experience
My areas of expertise are in Ancient Mediterranean, Near-eastern, and European cultures, languages, literature, and history. However, throughout my academic careers I have taken a plethora of courses from a variety of subjects to earn my liberal arts degree from Augustana College. These include: - literature courses - general history courses - world religions - meditation - public speaking - computer courses - math classes - business and economics courses During my tenure as an undergraduate student, I worked in the Admissions department directly under the Director of Admissions. I organized college fairs, helped with the Honors program application process and MOST importantly, had continued direct contact with the entire admissions team. Each school is different, but I have a strong pulse on the admissions process from what schools value, to how they evaluate potential students, to how they recruit. I am able to coach students on college entrance requirements, advise on entrance essays, as well as coach for a more beneficial interview process. GPA isn't the only thing that will get your child into the educational institution of their choice. They need to be well rounded and able to sell themselves and their achievements effectively. I can offer a high level overview of basic college admissions guidelines. Or I can do an in depth plan with you and your child individualized for their benefit and school of choice! I am also flexible on the rates and locations!
